About the festival.
The International Festival SIGNES DE NUIT based in Paris is made up of films, which reflects new points of views, original imagery and critical approach to the crucial points of the modern human existence. It is a place for cinema that expands its own boundaries, that is astonishing, different, potentially free from the pressure of tradition, ready to give itself to the unpredictable experimentation.
Since 2003 the International Festival SIGNES DE NUIT is active in Paris and worldwide. In last years the festival has presented some thousand films from more than 70 countries and also showed around 140 programs in collaboration with other festivals and cultural institutions in 33 countries including Algeria, Australia, Chile, Cuba, Hongary, Indonesia, Japan, Lebanon, Lithuania, Peru, Russia, Slovenia, Tunisia, Turkey, United States.
After becoming a binational festival, performed in Paris, Berlin and Saarbrücken in 2013, it now has been transformed in a multinational festival with screenings in Bangkok and Lisbon.
